1. Who We Are
Apas Learning Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the APASHUB ecosystem — a set of AI-powered platforms for education, astrology, reading, creative content, and intelligent agents. Our registered platforms include apaslearners.com, apasastro.com, apasbooks.com, apasagents.com, apascreative.com, and apashub.com.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account information: Name, email address, and optionally phone number when you register at accounts.apashub.com
- Educational data: Subjects, progress, practice scores, and content interactions on ApasLearners and ApasBooks
- Astrology data: Birth date, time, and place entered on ApasAstro to generate charts — treated with strict confidentiality
- Content inputs: Text, queries, and prompts submitted to ApasAgents or ApasCreative
- Payment data: Billing is handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers, UPI handles, or bank details on our servers
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and usage logs for security and debugging
- Communication data: Messages sent to us via email, Facebook Messenger, or our contact form
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and personalise our platforms — tutor responses, chart readings, book recommendations
- To process payments and manage subscriptions via Razorpay
- To send transactional emails — account confirmation, receipts, password reset
- To improve platform quality — aggregated, anonymised usage analysis
- To respond to support and grievance requests
- To comply with legal obligations under Indian law
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Anthropic (Claude API): Powers AI responses across ApasAgents, ApasLearners, and ApasAstro. Queries are processed on Anthropic's servers (USA). Anthropic's data handling is governed by their API usage policy.
- Razorpay: Payment processing for all subscriptions (India). Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Meta (Facebook Messenger): If you interact with us via our Facebook Page or Messenger bot, Meta's terms and privacy policy apply to that interaction.
- AWS SES: Transactional email delivery (ap-south-1, Mumbai region).
- Hostinger VPS: Our servers are hosted in data centres. Please contact us to confirm the current hosting region.
All third-party transfers are conducted under appropriate data processing agreements consistent with the Indian DPDP Act 2023.
5. Cookies
We use the following cookies:
- Session cookies: Required for login and authenticated access across apashub.com subdomains. These expire when you close your browser.
- Preference cookies: Store theme and display settings on ApasBooks and ApasLearners. Expire after 12 months.
- Analytics cookies: Anonymised page view data to understand which content is used. No personally identifiable information is stored.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling session cookies will prevent login from working.
6. Children's Privacy
ApasLearners and ApasBooks serve students, including those under 18. We take this responsibility seriously:
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent
- Students aged 13–17 may use our platforms. We collect only the data necessary to provide the educational service
- We do not display behavioural advertising to any user on ApasLearners or ApasBooks
- Parents may request deletion of their child's data by writing to privacy@apashub.com
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary:
- Active account data: retained while your account is active
- Payment records: retained for 8 years as required under Indian tax law
- AI conversation logs: retained for 90 days for quality and safety review, then deleted
- After account deletion: remaining personal data is purged within 30 days
8. Your Rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Nominate a person to exercise your rights on your behalf
To exercise any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@apashub.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. AI Output Disclaimer
AI-generated content across our platforms — including tutoring responses, astrology readings, and creative outputs — may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely solely on AI outputs for critical decisions. Always verify with a qualified professional where appropriate.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
